Chi Xao is a pandaren hunter and expert survivalist from Krasarang Wilds in Mainland Pandaria. Currently aligned with the Horde and the Huojin.
Physical Description[]
Chi is a bit more slimmer and more agile that most Pandaren, but needless to say that he still has an undying love for food and liquor. He stands tall at 6'3" and at a weight of 398 lbs.
He sports an eye patch on his right eye and wears a glass eye during special occasions. You can find him wearing mostly long hair in a ponytail, unless he is seen attending certain occasions and large events.
Personality[]
Chi was always known to have a bit of a short fuse. Though over the years, he has improved on his temper. If he is in a controlled environment, he has been known to be a rather charming individual. Some will compare him to Ji Firepaw when it comes to his humor and personality.
Chi is somewhat protective over himself and his closest allies. He has gone above and beyond to make sure he and those he cares for are safe, especially in times of crisis.
History[]
Born to Ji Xao Sr, and Ju Emeraldpaw with his brother Ji Xao Jr. and his adoptive sister Koraine Xao, Chi grew up in a small village in Krasarang Wilds in Pandaria. It was there that his father taught him the ways of surviving and learned how to fend for himself when and if he was to ever be caught out in the wilderness.
After the unfortunate death of his parents, He and his brother Ji were adopted by longtime family friends, where as Koraine was sent to live with her aunt in The Jade Forest.
Shortly afterwards, Chi and Ji went on to train at Shang Xi's Academy where Chi learned the ways of being a hunter and a born survivalist.
During he and his brothers time at Shang Xi, Chi had a conflict with his brother that resulted in him losing permanent vision out of his right eye. The injury he sustaned resulted in him being permanently bound to wearing an eye patch.
Soon after completing his training, Chi was brought alongside the Horde.
Chi went on to explore all of Kalimdor. He was never one to personally enjoy living in overpopulated and cramped areas. He then started making his way outside of Azeroth, exploring larger areas including the Outlands, and Draenor. While exploring Draenor, Chi met his longtime friend and faithful companion Rocko, a frost wolf that was experimented on by Warlocks that had granted him the ability to speak.
The Sha Possession[]
During a visit to Eastern Kingdoms to visit his brother Ji, Chi was approached and possessed by a powerful, shadowy like creature known as the Sha.
The possession resulted in Chi losing all control over himself and resulted in the deaths of nine Stormwind Royal Guards in Goldshire.
Chi was apprehended in Ashenvale by a group know as The Seventy Third. He was brought on trial in Stormwind. Chi was sentenced to the Stockades for his crime, and shortly after serving his time, he was placed in mandatory service with the Alliance.
Rocko[]
Rocko was a frost wolf that Chi had rescued from Draenor. Rocko had been formerly experimented on by a small group of Warlocks before being abandoned in Frostfire Ridge. Rocko's experiments included being granted the ability to speak clear sentences.
Chi rescued Rocko in Frostfire Ridge when Chi heard him howling out for help after being cornered by various wildlife.
Rocko's gratitude for Chi had led them to forming a partnership, thus Rocko joined Chi on his journey throughout the rest of Azeroth.
During Chi's Sha possession, Rocko was injured by the Sha and strung upon a tree. The Seventy Third found Rocko as he had fallen from the tree he was hung up on. He gave out where Chi and the Sha had gone to before succumbing to his injuries.
Rocko's remains were brought back to Stormwind, and buried within the Stormwind Graveyard.☃☃
